AkibaHobby that the local KFC branch located in Akihabara, has apparently taken to the habit of dressing up their local statue of Colonel Sanders in a maid costume. ( As to blend into the Akiba culture.) And it seems that they haven’t spared any costs when it comes to the small details, he even has a heart shaped tag on his apron saying: “Colonel”.
[Edit:] Seems KFC did not take to the idea of the Colonel wearing a maids outfit, so the Akihabara branch was told to stop dressing the Colonel up in a maids outfit. A real pity tough as “Colonel-tan” has such a nice ring to it don’t you think. LOL!
