Apart from the recently released Batman and Iron Man movies, the rest of the comic book to movie franchises were pretty pedestrian. Especially if you look at Spider-Man, Fantastic 4, Dare Devil and The Punisher. The only other franchise movie I ever enjoyed was The Hulk, yes it did not have a deep and evolving story with loads of character development but who cares.
The Hulk has always been about smashing things and causing shit on a epic fucken scale. People an fanboys who have been following the comic book series knows this. And to be honest I wouldn’t want it any other way, and from looking at the screenshots and trailer they did a amazing job in “reinventing” the Hulk.
