Just forget the console wars for just a few seconds, and ponder this utterly deep and meaningful question. What placement do you prefer for your console, vertical or horizontal. And if you prefer vertical over horizontal or vice versa why. ? Any special reasoning or conspiracy theories behind this. ? Ponder that question for a while and give me a answer.
Since I got my Nintendo Wii I always had it standing vertically due to space restrictions, and the fact that it just looks so sexy standing vertically in its stand. But since I got a LCD I have loads more space to place to horizontally. And to be honest it looks better to me placed horizontally, but most other Wii owners out there will disagree with me. LOL!
I dont own a wii and havent owned a console since my PS1 (which I still have BTW…just dont use it).
I think the wii looks better standing up :P
But I still dislike the idea of it standing up with a disc inside of it :-/

Well I dont know if there is any pro’s or con’s having it standing horizontal or vertical to be honest.
I keep all my consoles horizontal. I just find it easier to load games if the console’s disk drive is horizontal.
