I have been following High Voltage Software’s progress on there first person game called “The Conduit” for some time now. And after seeing the tech demo and some screen shots from the actual gameplay I almost wet myself. And on the 17th of May High Voltage Software released the Gameplay trailer for The Conduit”, shortly after watching the new trailer I had to go get clean pair of underwear.
I am very excited about this not just about the game itself, but the fact that a third party developer is creating something unique on the Wii console and pushing the Wii’s hardware to its absolute limit. You also must take into account that these guys have absolutely no publisher that are currently backing them up financially, but hopefully that will change soon.
From the gameplay footage I have seen so far it reminds me of Metroid Prime some Prey and a crap load of Half Life 2. It looks like a completely unique first person shooter experience for the Wii and I for one cannot wait to see whats going to happen with this title in the future.
