In a recent interview with MTV the actor Keanu Reeves revealed that Twentieth Century Fox now has a screenwriter developing a plot for the live action feature film based on the 1998 cult classic anime television series Cowboy Bebop. Keanu explained that the intent of the film adaptation of the original show is to bring episodes like, “Red Eye” and the TV series climax to life on the big screen. With the other episodes making up the “body” of the live action movie. Reeves did not mention any plans to appear in the film himself, but I have a nagging suspicion that we will hear some more regarding this shortly. It is no coincidence that Reeves manager Erwin Stoff is directing this movie and that Reeves made this announcement himself.
